Quiche with sausage, feta and tomato-pepper pate (Bujurdi)


1 ready made Quiche dough

200 g. spicy sausage (from Aridaia, with paprika)

250 g. feta cheese

2 eggs

150ml heavy cream

Wise Greece / Tomato-chili pate  (4 tablespoons)

Cooking instructions

Cut sausages into slices and stir fry them for 5-6 minutes in a nonstick pan. Let them cool. Brush the inside of the pre -baked tart with Tomato-chili pate. Put the slices of sausage on top, keeping some of them aside.

Crumble the feta cheese, stir the heavy cream along with the 2 eggs and put into the mixture 2 heaped tablespoons of Tomato-chili pate along with the oregano. Add the feta cheese and stir.

Fill the tart with the mixture and put over the remaining slices of sausage.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes, until the filling thickens. 

Let the tart cool down, cut it and serve it!
